Currency
The currency used in Monaco is euros (€). Every Canadian dollar is equal to .72 euros (€). The Euo represents two things for Europeans. Unity, because it is found all over Europe, but has the same value everywhere. The euro also represents diversity, because the coins show landmarks, regions, history, and cultures of Europe.

There are seven banknotes. Much like canadain dollar bills, the different amounts are different colours. The 5 euro bill is grey, the 10 euro bill is red, the 20 euro bill is blue, The 50 euro bill is orange, the 100 euro bill is green, the 200 euro bill is yellow, and the 500 euro bill is purple. The banknotes designs were chosen by competition before the euro was launched. The designs mostly depict different architectural features in Europe throughout history. Most design are bridges and windows. These banknotes have feature to keep them from being counterfieted. These security features include a hologram and a metal strip, as well as other things. One side of euro coins is the same in all of the countries – this known as the common side. The common sideof the euro and cent coins shows different maps of the European Union.The other side of the euro has a different design depending on which country wasthe one to issue it – this is known as the national side. Theses designs are very diverse but usually show some aspect of the country's art, nature, or history.
